How to Showit SEO
SEO Title – The title of your website is very important as it describes what is in the page content and is typically included in a search result. The title needs to have the keywords that will ultimately help your page rank on our search engines.
SEO Description – This is the description on the page and is typically included as the paragraph under a search result that describes the page’s content. The description provides information in search results under a website’s page title and encourages someone to click on the link.
Keywords – Keywords are words or phrases you use on your website, which helps google figure out how and where you should rank. For example, if you are a photographer in Seattle, you may want to use keywords such as Seattle” and “photographer.” This is the watered-down version; it gets a bit more complicated than this, but that is where hiring an SEO expert comes in.
Website Content SEO Settings
Text Content – Google uses Text Tags to index the structure and content of your web pages. This helps google better understand the information found on your site. <h1> headings should be used for main headings, followed by <h2> headings, then the less important <h3>, and so on. Showit automatically applies Text Tags based on your Font design settings.
Images and Media – Under the preview of an image, there are options to add an SEO Title and Description used as the title and alt tags for SEO purposes for an image in the page. These can be used to determine how Search engines index the file without relying on potential generic image names.
